Bogotá, April 28, 2025. The Bogotá Tourism Office presents Bogotá, your home, the first official publication of the city that brings together in one place its main tourist attractions and products. With the support of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce (CCB), this work becomes an essential guide for locals and visitors, positioning Bogotá as a vibrant, diverse destination full of experiences to discover.
The book will be officially launched at the Bogotá International Book Fair (FILBo), one of the most important cultural events in the country, as a symbol of the city's commitment to having a high-level tourism promotion tool that is accessible, attractive and designed for everyone.
The publication brings together 103 tourist attractions and 39 routes organized into seven thematic chapters: Culture, Nature, Entertainment, Gastronomy, Diversity and Inclusion (LGBTI), Shopping and Major Events. This work is also the result of a mission that traveled throughout the city and part of the region, with the objective of documenting the best of Bogota's tourism under criteria of sustainability, innovation, quality and safety.
"From day one, when we arrived at Turismo Bogotá, we dreamed of having a great document that would bring together the best of tourism in Bogotá. Today that dream is a reality. Bogotá, your home is more than a book: it is the letter of introduction of a city that wants to welcome its visitors with memorable, sustainable and safe experiences," says Andrés Santamaría, director of the IDT.
Among the attractions highlighted are icons such as the Gold Museum, the Botanical Garden, the Rock al Parque Festival, the Basilica of Monserrate, the San Felipe Creative District, The Ciclovía de Bogotá, and venues such as the Movistar Arena and Corferias, where major international events are held. It also includes gastronomic routes through Zona G, La Candelaria and Usaquén, as well as inclusive spaces such as the LGBTI Museum and Theatron.
The book will be available in physical and digital format, and can be consulted at tourist information points such as Bici Bogotá, an innovative space created to bring tourist information closer to citizens and visitors.
Bogotá, your home is not only a tribute to the city, but also a tool for strengthening tourism as an engine of economic and social development. It is an invitation to rediscover Bogotá from multiple perspectives, with pride, closeness and emotion.
