Ms. Lyublena Dimova

 

Graduated in 2015 in Tourism Management and Hospitality from both the University of Central Florida and ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon, Lyublena has since been working at the European Travel Commission (ETC), as part of the research and development. Her main responsibilities include continuous monitoring of trends in the European tourism sector and short-term forecasting of travel demand from key overseas and European markets. As well as her constant communication with National Tourism Organisations, she is in charge of the re-development of ETC’s Executive Dashboard - a “data hub” that provides simple access to key indicators and market intelligence information for the travel and tourism industry in Europe. Besides, as part of ETC’s sustainable agenda, Lyublena works on projects aimed at establishing an efficient mechanism for benchmarking sustainable tourism indicators in European countries and measuring the tourism impact on the environment with the support of companies working with satellite data.

 

Ms Dimova is also involved in research activities linked to the European Tourism Association (ETOA), the European Commission (EC), and the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
