Mr. Ricardo Galindo Bueno

The Vice Minister of Tourism is a professional in Finance and International Relations from the University Externado of Colombia. In his professional practice, he has served as Deputy Comptroller, General Director of the National Road Safety Agency and Proexport manager. In addition, he has been in charge of different positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Among the goals of the new head of the Vice Ministry is to strengthen safe and sustainable economic reactivation actions through different programs and tools.

He will also be responsible for continuing the implementation of the new General Tourism Law (Law 2068 of 2020), in its four pillars: sustainability, quality, formalization and reactivation.

Similarly, his priority is to advance in the guidelines of the Tourism Sector Plan 2018-22 "Tourism: the purpose that unites us"
